The Chapel of Our Lady Comforter of the Imprinted or Our Lady of the Lord is an accessible chapel that is located at Opitterkiezel 200, north of the bowl of Opitter.
The chapel was founded in 1361, when Pieter and Jan Peenres were released from stokkem castle. They had ended up there after Godfried van Dalenbroek, the heir of Diederik van Heinsberg, was besieged in this castle by Engelbert van der Mark, prince-bishop of Liège, who took the castle after 27 days and imprisoned Godfrey's supporters in his own castle.
