The border according to the Treaty of Kortrijk (1820) between Wannehain and Esplechin
The Treaty of Kortrijk was signed on March 28, 1820, at what is now the Broel Museum in the Belgian city of Kortrijk. This treaty established the border between France and the United Kingdom of the Netherlands (under William I). With a few minor corrections, this border still corresponds to the national border between Belgium and France and Luxembourg and France.
