Close to this car park is the Hengelhoef visitor centre of Limburgs Landschap vzw. It is the perfect base to explore the Hengelhoef nature reserve and the nearby heathlands of Teut and Ten Haagdoornheide (ANB). In and around the visitor centre, a renovated Kempen half-timbered house, you can experience the former life on the heath. Enjoy a delicious and honest drink in a natural setting! Every month, various 'nature-fun' activities are organised. Moreover, you can start from the visitor center with various walking routes.
Opening hours: Visitor Centre Hengelhoef of Limburgs Landschap vzw is open during walks and activities from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
From 1 April to 31 October, it is also open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sunday afternoons. Each time from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm. In July and August, it is also open on Tuesday afternoons.
