For the installation 'I knew you were coming', an inconspicuous worker's house becomes the set for a story as a total experience. The work is a 3D sound performance made specifically for the festival by author Saskia De Coster and Ine Eysermans, the musical brain of pop group Amatorski and independent musician.
The cramped space of the cottage obliges visitors to walk one after the other: for example, the installation is an intimate investigation of all those who have preceded them; the rooms form a canvas for the sentences and objects that Saskia De Coster has applied to the facades and throughout the house. The house becomes a sizzling sound box for the spatial sounds of Inne Esermans. It seems like we are underwater. source: Catalogue Arts Festival Watou 2016
