Park Mariënstede, together with the municipal domain 't Torreke and the Rosarium domain, forms a green lung in the center of Dadizele. Located in the shadow of the Basilica, the garden of the former retreat house is situated in the heart of the village. In the park, you will also find a castle where mentally and physically disabled people live. They operate the shop “De Winkelpoort”. There you can buy fresh dairy products, jam, chocolate, gift boxes, greeting cards, and products from the Oxfam world shop.
