Another animal that benefits from the swamp restoration is the tree frog. This amphibian species was once widespread in this swampy region. In the fifties and sixties it became quiet around this special frog. The main causes were the draining of swamps and the clearing of brush, thickets and pools. Fortunately, he is now on the rise. The tree frog owes its name to the suction cups on its legs that, unlike other native amphibian species, allow it to climb bushes and low trees.
