Kristof Marrannes began at the family restaurant "Ter Leepe," a well-known establishment in Zedelgem and its surroundings for over 30 years. During his tenure, Kristof had a solid training background: 2.5 years at Sea Grill in Brussels and 1.5 years at Hof van Cleve in Kruishoutem. He immediately introduced innovation to the business, and less than a year later he had an award to his name: laureate of the Silver Soup Spoon 2006, a competition for young talent. In the meantime, Ter Leepe has been awarded a Michelin star. The appreciation for his culinary skills has not diminished since then. This is because he stands out with an inventive, elaborate, yet balanced cuisine where new techniques find their place.
