Description

As is a former railway station on lines 21A (Hasselt-As) and 21B (As-Eisden). Nowadays there are catering facilities in the station building and the non-profit organisation Kolenspoor uses it for the operation of the tourist railway Waterschei-As-Eisden.
At As station there is also one of the so-called gates of the Hoge Kempen National Park, and there is a watchtower.
