On this nutrient-poor slope meadow for Haspengouw, there is variety. At the top of the slope it is relatively dry, while there are central areas where water or seepage rises from the soil due to the pressure. In spring and summer you get a sea of flowers of daisy, purple buttonwort, common brunel, whole leaves, white mint and various grasses including comb grass and sedge. At the bottom grow more wet species such as the pentecostal flower, cross-leaved straw, tuberous saxifrage and true cuckoo flower.
