Laying hens company
At the Tusschenhof, Ward and Hilde take care of their chickens or they are princesses.
They find it very important to treat their animals according to the principles of animal welfare, public health, environment and sustainable agriculture. The animals produce better and are happier because the welfare of the animal is central.
The visitors receive an explanation about the housing of the animals, can take a look at the barn and visit the egg room while sorting the eggs. Suitable for people with disabilities (e.g. wheelchair users, blind people, ...).
Tusschenhof is one of our STEM farms. In consultation with the teacher, a STEM offer can be put together.
Tastings are possible by appointment.
