A pollard willow row consisting of ashes and hornbeams marks the original plot boundary. The thickness of the trunks of the pollarded trees indicates that the row is very old. The species ash and hornbeam were also used in copse hedges in the past, so the old trees may still be a relic of a copse hedge. At the time of the inventory, the trees were still traditionally pollarded, the shoots on the pollards were thinned, and the wood was still used as firewood, utility wood, and construction timber. Old coppices were also used in the past for leaf fodder. The other plot boundary is defined by an ash copse.
