Hollow road to Krindaal

A homestead marks a crossroads of four roads that extend to the four cardinal directions. The road that runs to the south is an extension of the road coming from Ulvend and leads through the Broekbos. This dirt road crosses the contour lines and runs up the slope. The road here is strongly eroded and has the character of a hollow road up to the edge of the forest where the road turns into a field road that descends between the meadows to Krindaal. This dirt road is part of the historic connecting road between the hamlets of Ulvend, De Plank and Krindaal that ran largely between the open fields and through the Broekbos. The road is already present on the Villaret map as a clear north-south connection and also visible on the later historical maps.
