Description

The Visbeek is located on the territory of the municipalities of Lille and Wechelderzande in the Antwerp campine. The area includes the Visbeek with its valley and is bordered by the habitation of Wechelderzande in the west, the municipal border with Vlimmeren in the north, coniferous forests in the west and the E34 motorway in the south. The latter also forms a hard barrier between the valley areas of the Visbeek and the Kindernouwbeek. It concerns a varied complex of small-scale agricultural land, heathland remnants, coniferous and deciduous forests and swamps.
