Town Hall of Rijmenam

Together with the adjoining school and teacher's house, it was built around 1907 to a design by the provincial architect E. Careels in 1905. Neo-Gothic-inspired broad house of three bays and one storey with basement, under a slate gable roof (ridge parallel to the street), with stepped skylight (four steps and angled top). Brick frame façade with polygonal turrets and decorative processing of natural stone for, among other things, wall bands, frames, delineating neo-Gothic balustrade and banister. To the right, a striking platform with a staircase and a neo-Gothic portico with a stepped gable (three steps with an angled top). Cross-bar frames with typical trilobate motifs in the arched field; Rectangular windows and Tudor arched door in basement.
