As well as the Kleine Krankenhoeve and the "Nieuwe Krankhoeve" (see Bonheiden) a property of the Krankenhuis of the Mechelen beguines and because of the extensive agricultural lands in Peulis, Bonheiden and Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Waver, called "Grote Krankhoeve"; When the property came into the possession of the beguines is not known, but the farm is already mentioned in their oldest preserved cijnsboeken of 1340.
