The court of Ename is also sometimes called the court in Bossuit (on the Enamemeers). We find the earliest mentions of this court in the 12th century. In the 17th century, officers and soldiers were often billeted here as part of the French conquests. The brick buildings, which form a square with courtyard, date mainly from the 18th century and form a beautiful architectural whole, which one enters through a tower gate. The pigeon tower bears the shield of the Enaam abbey. The chicory ast, renewed in 1954, functioned until 1964.
