The Kazandmolen is the only remaining mill in the territory of Roeselare. It was originally a wooden mill, built in 1773 to grind oil. After a turbulent history of burning down, rebuilding, and remodeling, the mill acquired its current brick appearance in 1813. A recent restoration ensured that the mill once again dominates the landscape in all its glory. You can visit the mill by appointment in a group via Tourism Roeselare.
