The "Charleroyhoeve" in traditional baking and sandstone style is a remnant of what was once the most prestigious (semi-) closed tenant farm of Grimbergen Abbey. Partially walled buildings from the third quarter of the 17th and 18th centuries, adapted or renewed in the 19th and 20th centuries. Rural location on the northeastern edge of the village center, planted on the corner formed by the Maalbeek and the Lierbaan within the protected village view "De Maalbeekvallei" (Royal Decree of 9-7-1980).
