Church of Brasschaat-center located on a nearly triangular square at the intersection of Breda and Miksebaan. Already in the fourth quarter of the 15th century, the chapel was dedicated to Saint Anthony, under the parish of Ekeren. Temporarily elevated to an independent parish in 1803, officially established in 1833. Chapel from 1771, enlarged in 1839 (transept and choir), designed by architect Ferdinand Berckmans, tower from 1864-65 (see inscription) according to the plan of Eugeen Gife, and side aisles from 1871-72 (according to inscription) also designed by Eugeen Gife. Restored in 1978 according to the design of architect P. Van Hoenacker.
