Kerk van Brasschaat-centrum gelegen op een nagenoeg driehoekig plein op splitsing van Breda- en Miksebaan. Reeds in het vierde kwart van de 15de eeuw werd de kapel toegewijd aan Sint-Antonius afhankelijk van de parochie Ekeren. In 1803 tijdelijk verheven tot zelfstandige parochie, definitief opgericht in 1833. Kapel van 1771, vergroot in 1839 (kruisbeuk en koor), naar ontwerp van architect Ferdinand Berckmans, toren van 1864-65 (zie inscriptie) naar plan van Eugeen Gife en zijbeuken van 1871-72 (volgens inscriptie) eveneens naar ontwerp van Eugeen Gife. Gerestaureerd in 1978 naar ontwerp van architect P. Van Hoenacker.
