Église du centre de Brasschaat située sur une place presque triangulaire à la croisée de la Breda- et de la Miksebaan. Déjà au quatrième quart du 15e siècle, la chapelle fut dédiée à Saint-Antoine, dépendant de la paroisse d'Ekeren. En 1803, elle fut temporairement élevée au statut de paroisse indépendante, puis définitivement établie en 1833. Chapelle de 1771, agrandie en 1839 (transept et chœur), sur le plan de l'architecte Ferdinand Berckmans, tour de 1864-65 (voir inscription) selon les plans d'Eugène Gife et bas-côtés de 1871-72 (selon l'inscription), également selon le projet d'Eugène Gife. Restaurée en 1978 selon le projet de l'architecte P. Van Hoenacker.
