Monument for the 5th Regiment of Lancers at the corner with Lancers Street. At this location, this regiment broke the storm attack of the German cavalry. Until 1924, there was a small cemetery of 16 fallen Belgian soldiers. This cemetery was then moved to the Belgian military cemetery on Liniestraat. The memorial stone is said to date from 1934.
