Former watermill on the Witbeek, established by F. van Isterdael, a rentier in Maaseik in 1848. In 1849 sold to Jan Schreurs. In 1872 sold to Franciscus Verbeek; he had already built the windmill Lemmensmolen in Kinrooi in 1856. The mill was enlarged in 1930 and a steam engine was installed. In 1946, the mill wheel was sold; the mill continued to operate on electricity until 1965.
