This picturesque tower is part of our national heritage. Since 1955, it has dominated the landscape. You haven't truly been to Bredene until you've seen it. With its iconic look, it charms from miles away. And you can even climb it.
Over the years, it has undergone various restorations. In 1977, the faience tiles were replaced with bricks, and in 1994, the exterior received its blue and white stripes. Its red roof makes it even more likable.
In 1995, it also got a balustrade and ten large windows that offer a grand panoramic view. You come face to face with the seagulls. Be sure to step inside if you're in the area. Your kids will rush up with great enthusiasm. Joyful cheers at the top are guaranteed! On the ground floor, there is also a permanent exhibition about water extraction and the role of water in our daily lives. A top attraction to check out along the way.
