This staircase that seems to challenge the heavens has 374 steps with a height difference of 67 meters. When viewed head-on, it looks like a wall with its slope of 30%. Enthusiasts of extreme sports, mountain bikers, and trailers have made it their favorite playground. The staircase was built in the 19th century with the intention of allowing the garrison stationed in the Citadel to quickly descend to the city center when the city was attacked. However, it was primarily used by the soldiers to reach the cafes and other cabarets faster.
