From far away, the Château de Waroux can be recognised by its elegant spire. Located at the gates of the Hesbaye, it is at the region's highest point (182m). Built apparently around 1300, at first glance, the castle has an austere appearance. The exterior walls are tall and hostile, revealing the fortress's feudal origins. Listed as a site of exceptional heritage of Wallonia, the monument from the past has become a building for the present. Open to the public, the building offers large exhibitions, allowing the public to encounter artistic excellence., For further information and group visits, please consult the website: http://www.chateau-waroux.be/
