In the north of the Hainaut Boot, just on the border with the province of Namur, a large complex of dams was built on, among other things, the stream Eau d'Heure. This resulted in a series of reservoirs, very irregular in shape due to the undulating relief of the bottom. As a result, a number of hydrological problems were solved, but it was also used to turn that place into a recreational paradise, also for walkers. To prevent the formation of muddy beaches, three fore-dams were built: Falemprise (226 m), Ri Jaune (252 m), and Féronval (142 m).
