In this hamlet amidst the forests, you can still find a number of taverns and restaurants. In spring and summer, many hikers, cyclists, and motorcyclists find their way to the numerous terraces.
In the 1950s - 1960s, there were several dance halls here, and this was the 'place to be' for the youth of that time! .... today you can still regularly find buses with day-trippers stopping here for a coffee with a Geraardsbergen Mattentaart... and probably a memory of past adventures ...
