I 1950'erne og 1960'erne var der her forskellige dansemuligheder, og dette var 'stedet at være' for ungdommen i den tid! .... i dag finder du stadig regelmæssigt busser med dagsturister, der stopper her for en kaffe med en Geraardsbergse Mattentaart... og sandsynligvis en påmindelse om tidligere eventyr ...
