In questo paese nel mezzo dei boschi troverai ancora alcune taverne e ristoranti. In primavera e in estate molti escursionisti, ciclisti e motociclisti trovano la strada per i numerosi terrazzi.
Negli anni '50 e '60 qui c'erano diverse sale da ballo e questo era il 'posto dove essere' per i giovani di quel tempo! .... oggi qui trovi ancora regolarmente autobus con turisti in giornata che si fermano per un caffè con una Mattentaart di Geraardsbergen... e probabilmente un ricordo di avventure passate ...
