The Sint-Bertiliabron is a spring in Rosmeer, located next to the presbytery in the Rosmeerstraat and a short distance from the church. Nowadays this is a spring that is located in a concrete dome that is equipped with a fence. The Sint-Bertiliabron in Rosmeer was an important and centuries-old place of pilgrimage that attracted thousands of pilgrims from all over the country until the first half of the 20th century. Saint Bertilia is said to be effective against diseases of humans and animals. On the first Sunday in May, pilgrims walk seven times from the church to the spring and back. The source played an important role in the invocation. Pieces of cloth from the clothes of the sick were thrown into the water. If the cloth floated, the prayer was answered, but if it sank, one had to turn to another saint.
