The Castle of Opleeuw is a castle in Gors-Opleeuw, located at Mettekovenstraat 2-4 and 3-5 there. It was the seat of the Lords of Opleeuw.
The oldest known gentleman was Jan van Opleeuw. The Van Opleeuw family remained in possession of the manor until 1469, after which it passed to the Van Mettekoven family, which remained the owner until the end of the 18th century. At the beginning of the 19th century, the castle came into the possession of Baron de Woelmont, in 1905 it was sold to the De Grady family, and in 1908 they sold it to M. Cassalette, a German officer. After the First World War, the property was confiscated by the State and sold to the Bernheim & Cie consortium, which brought it into the hands of various owners. In 1971 it passed to its current owner.
