We are now climbing an iron sandstone hill to a height of about 45 meters above sea level. On the older maps are the names Konijnenberg, Rommelaarberg and Middelborg. The name Konijntjesberg dates back to the 20th century. The iron sandstone comes to the surface here. The soil is sandy and not very fertile. That's why pines were planted here. From here you have a beautiful panorama of Rillaar between Aarschot and Scherpenheuvel.
