Description

Schengenplein is one of the latest additions to the Eilandje. It is situated on the site of the car park of the former customs building. This 10,000-sqm car-free square is the same size as Groenplaats. There are several walking trails and play areas in the square, which is planted with plenty of tall trees. You can immediately see why they call this the green heart of the Eilandje neighbourhood.
