A little further and we can stop for a possible snack and drink in "'t Schipke aan de Nete".
The current brasserie at the time was café 't Schipke with a spring. Later there was a bridge over the Nete, which was the setting for a number of shots during the film adaptation of Pallieter. Felix Timmermans described Pallieter's antics in this region.
Those who have eaten their fill here can take a walk along the dike and imagine themselves Pallieter.
