This hop field is 35 ares large and contains approximately 800 hop plants of the Hallertau-Mittelfrüh variety. Palm chose to establish a hop field as part of their innovation projects, to contribute to the tourism aspect of the hop region and as a recognition of hops. Every year on the last Sunday of August, the brewery organizes a public hop harvest along with accompanying (hop) festivities.
