This hollows road is one of the last existing in the Brussels Region. It owes its hollow shape to the old and repeated passage of people, as well as the runoff of rainwater. With its slopes covered in vegetation, this path serves as a refuge for many animals, such as mammals whose burrows can be seen in certain places. It also serves as an ecological corridor through which they can move from one green space to another.
