Hof te Hobosch - Merchtem
This now beautifully restored house was already mentioned in 1650.
This farm was probably originally the court of the Hobosch knights who also inhabited the Borcht in the center.
The name 'Burnt farm' is said to have been given after a fire in the 17th century, probably started by a gang of the Bosgeuzen.
The gable roof with Flemish tiles is striking.
