On the right side of the Hoefijzervijver, another stream flows into it, which runs in an artificial bed. That is the Bocq, named after the river in the province of Namur near Dinant. Further upstream is a drinking water basin that is filled with spring water from the Namur Bocq and indeed flows into our small Brussels Bocq when the basin becomes overloaded.
