The farm is closely connected to the castle next door. It used to be a hunting and summer residence and later a boarding school for the Josephites. Now it is a language center. On maps dating back to 1845, a partial moat around the farm is still drawn. After 1889, the farm was rebuilt after a fire. Now it is a cattle farm managed by the Schuppen-Masi family. Many fragments of the film "Bullhead" were filmed here.
