Welcome to 'View of the Wijers'. This viewpoint is located in the barn of the former Ceulemans farm, named after the last inhabitant of the farm. Previously, this was the home of forester Joannes Cox, who lived here with his eight children from 1897 to 1924.
In the distance you can see the monuments of the Bokrijk Open Air Museum, including the historic Pigeon Tower from Ingelmunster. A second vantage point has been developed in this tower: via a staircase construction on the outside, you climb to the platform at the same height as the ridge of the roof, with a wide view of the surroundings as a reward.
