Gerardus Theodorus Hubertus "Hubert" Van Innis (24 February 1866 – 25 November 1961) was a Belgian archer. With nine Olympic medals, he is still the Belgian record holder in the number of Olympic medals obtained. He is also the most successful archer on the OS.
Van Innis practiced archery for a long time. In 1933, at the age of 67, he became world champion for the last time.
In Elewijt a monument was erected to Van Innis who was born there as the son of a farmer. Source: Wikipedia
