This railway line, created in 1884 and linking Ecaussinnes to Lembeek, barely had time to celebrate its centenary before being closed to rail traffic on 2 June 1984 and derailed in 1989. The line's plate is still very rich in what specialists call "railway botany": rectangular panels with chevrons. They indicate the approach of a signal; prisms with a triangular base, often blue, which are hectometric markers (the kilometers were counted from Tubize, so it is normal for the numbers to decrease)
