This house is located at the corner of Hoogstraat and Rodepoortstraat in the Brussels Marolles district. It is a typical example of a house from the 16th century.
For a long time, it was believed that the painter Pieter Bruegel the Elder (1525-1569) might have lived here. Recent research has shown that his great-grandson David Teniers III (1638-1685) lived here.
