Description

Time for a break? The castle of Coloma is a water castle with a wide, square moat, fed by a branch of the Zuun. Today it is used as a multipurpose Cultural Center. The castle is surrounded by a wooded park, 15 hectares in size, with striking water features, lanes and the largest rose garden in Flanders (4.4 hectares). A coach house with the year 1731 was preserved northeast of the castle and today serves as a brasserie with a pleasant terrace. Cycling is not allowed in the domain, so it is better to park the bike before a visit or take it by hand.
