This chapel is located at the intersection of Rue Emile Parfonry and Rue de la Liberation.
It is dedicated to Saint-Gilles. Saint Gilles the Hermit (also Egidius) is one of the fourteen auxiliary saints in the annals of the Roman Catholic Church. Nothing certain is known about him. Within the Catholic Church, the Holy Helpers designate a group of fourteen saints who are worshiped and invoked as a group and individually. They are also known as the Fourteen Holy Helpers. They are called helpers because they would especially help with all kinds of diseases and disorders.
Saint-Gilles or Egidius was a hermit and abbot and is invoked against plagues.
