Chapel Rue Saint-Hubert

This chapel is located on Rue Saint-Hubert on a small embankment. It bears the inscription "je vous salue Maria".

Inside is a simple statue of the Virgin Mary.

Field chapels are mainly found in predominantly Roman Catholic regions, in the past mainly in highly agricultural areas.

A field chapel is usually dedicated to Mary, a saint or a particular popular devotion, such as Saint Anthony or Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Often a field chapel is maintained by local residents, who keep the chapel clean and provide it with flowers. Sometimes militia or other associations have their own field chapel, which is dedicated to the patron saint of the association. In addition, field chapels can fulfill a function during pilgrimages and processions.

In field chapels, a distinction is made between accessible chapels and non-accessible chapels. The somewhat larger field chapels are usually accessible, have several benches, an altar and a lockable door.
