This pump is located at the intersection of Rue du Patronage and Rue du Presbytere in Bras La Basse. Judging by the shape of the pump, it is clear that it served to drain water. The river Lhomme flows through Bras. The Lhomme rises a little further at an altitude of 160 meters. Just past Rochefort it flows into the Lesse at an altitude of 150 metres.
Bras La basse is (together with Haut La Basse) a borough of Libramont-Chevigny. The area is quite touristy due to the presence of the forests of Saint-hubert. Land of deer, forests and legends, a must for every nature holiday. The Great Forest of Saint-Hubert extends over 100,000 ha, more than half of which is wooded! The forest has foothills in 10 communes: Daverdisse, Wellin, Tellin, Libin, Libramont-Chevigny, Saint-Hubert, Tenneville, Nassogne, Sainte-Ode and Bertogne.
