Fun for kids

The children's adventure trail is a challenging hiking trail for children up to 12 years old and part of the green hiking trail (2.5 km) that starts and arrives at the visitor center. The green route runs along the well-trodden shores of the lake. The entire route is wheelchair friendly. You follow the green signposts from the totem pole with black-tailed godwit near the visitor center.

Near the fishing port, the large wooden entrance gate welcomes you on the adventure trail. Small (and large) adventurers are welcome to explore. Hidden in the greenery you will come across climbing poles, a climbing tree and a wild man's hut. Be sure to climb on the play hill with moat. High in the crow's nest you have the most beautiful view. Further on the green walk, you will pass an adventure bridge and a brand new boardwalk with a unique view of the entire lake. Can you spot the beaver? A little further on you suddenly find yourself face to face with the vast nature reserve Schulensbroek.
