In the hamlet of Molhem there are 5 prehistoric burial mounds dating from the period 800 to 500 BC . The 5 burial mounds are connected by a walking path. These burial mounds are probably part of a burial field from the period 800 to 500 BC.
The site has recently undergone a thorough upgrade and surprises every visitor. Follow the walking path through the forest and learn everything about the world of the inhabitants of yesteryear in a playful and interactive way.
Via the information boards you return to prehistory and you end up in the living environment of our ancestors. They were farmers. They worked the fertile lands and built their houses here. They let their cattle graze in the stream valley. The burial mounds were a stone's throw from the stream. Our ancestors passed the burial mounds on their way from the fields and the settlements to the valley and vice versa.
The site of the burial mounds is freely accessible.
